"The biggest mass slaying in American history!"
is another tag given to the Virginia Tech killings
and how sad it was to see the c.v's.of the young
people who were killed -- vibrant lives cut short --
too many young people have lost their lives who
would have made us all a brighter future --
here, in Iraq -- the world !

-- in my mind the biggest mass killing in America
was the World Trade Center on 9/11/01

Almost three thousand people perished and the
proceeding picture of a faceless woman stands
at the edge of the hole of the former fascia of the 94th
floor of the North Tower, of the World Trade Building --

Who is she ???

The "hole"

She never went home -- minuets later the building
imploded -- pulverized into little pieces of dust
that we breathed in and maybe out, for months,
and the acrid smell that hung in th air for weeks
and still there is a massive amount of dust in the
air --

Who was she what was her name ?
I have called her Iphigenia, but what is her name?

Her courage is boundless, she is a true heroine --
one moment sitting in your cubicle at your desk
-- having a coffee, getting ready to face the day &
the next thing chaos --

it must have all gone dark as the lights went out
and the noise of the approaching plane!
The sound of the impact must have been
unbelievable -- who could imagine !!! The terror,
the noise, the panic, the fear --

She had the courage, clarity of mind and determination
to get to the light -- but she went to look not to be
saved -- & she must have known it --

Were you ever in those buildings ?

I was in them a number of times -- right after the first
bombing and to say the least the security was lax
I just walked in and told the guard I was looking for
someone who had gone up to the viewing deck --
so they let me go up all the way to the observation deck
and to the roof where the view was spectacular but
terrifying to be up so high where the river looked
like a lazy wide dark blue ribbon & New York lay at my feet
it was heady -- it was a beautiful -- & knee shaking!
a warm day, sunny, a nice breeze -- but so scary
to be that high -- it made me feel very vulnerable--
the buildings below looked like a toy village except I knew
it was New York -- I celebrated my birthday dinner at
the restaurant on the 107th floor -- Windows on the World
and yes it was -- it was the birthday in September
just before my breast operation for cancer and I wore a
smashing creme lace strapless dress I had bought in
London --- it was bittersweet -- 1980 I was 36years old.

Windows on the World was a spectacular restaurant,
spectacular views and food, wines and service --

How can you not admire Iphigenia, who came to the
edge of the abyss -- standing so perilously at the beginning
& end of time -- for me she is the most powerful symbol
of truth and the lifting of the corner of the veil of lies.

We owe her a great deal, she came and stood at the
opening at the edge, maybe hoping to be rescued or saved
that fateful morning -- she wasn't -- but what she did,
this beautiful heroine, was to stand there in all her
feminine glory and be the image forever that countermands
all the lies of the state and their mouthpieces the media

One lone woman's heroic stance makes their plane fuel story
sheer piffle -- because plane fuel fire did not melt the steel and
bring down the towers --

She is an amalgam of Jeanne d'Arc, Rachael Corrie,
Diana, Princess of Wales, every woman burned as a witch
in the Burning Times, she is the symbol of a great crime perpetrated
by the state for the state --

but we are going to find out sooner than perhaps we even
can imagine --- they can run but they can't hide

Dear Iphigenia,
Your moment in the sunshine of a glorious September
morn, will not have been in vain, we are grateful for your
great sacrifice and being taken too soon, but we will remember
you and your gift to us all -- and we will all
know the truth --

Thank you. Be in Peace
